Dr Roshini Peiris-John is Associate Professor in Epidemiology and Co-Director of the Centre for Asian and Ethnic Minority Health Research and Evaluation (CAHRE) at the University of Auckland. She has a keen interest in inequities that challenge the health of ethnic minority communities and is particularly interested in research on environmental determinants of health.
As a member of the Adolescent Health Research Group, she has been involved in the Youth2000 national secondary school surveys, and now leads a Health Research Council funded study, Thriving@Crossroads, exploring the determinants of health and wellbeing among ethnic minority youth with intersecting identities
